A New Perspective

My art continues to be inspired by my observations  of the Grampians region landscape, Corio Bay and more recently the city of Geelong as seen from Epworth hospital Waurn Ponds.
A second theme of quite different more abstract works continues to be part of my art practice and is mainly influenced by my experience of living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

I am aware of a contrast of ideas between the two themes, one being a longing for a safe and peaceful place (i.e. no pain) and the other being the search for a way to express what it is like living with pain 24 hours, 7 days a week. which can vary from mild to severe in a flash and can derail you physically and emotionally.
